Speaking, workshops,
and original resources.

CABA is the for-profit S corporation I founded in February 2024. As Founder and Principal, I offer speaking, workshops, facilitation, writing, and educational resource development centered on Black women.

Start with the people
in the room.

A useful engagement begins with a clear audience and a question that matters to them.

My approach connects behavioral-health research, storytelling, professional experience, and discussion. I want people to leave with a clearer understanding of the issue and something they can use in their work or lives.

Completed work includes the For Us, By Us: Building Mutual Aid That Works workshop, which I created, produced, and facilitated, and my October 2026 Royal Shift presentation on Black women’s mental health, midlife, and being taken seriously.

When Work Follows You Home

Created and facilitated by Cerissa A. Brown, LBSW.

You may be home and still replaying what happened at work, weighing a decision, or living with the effects after leaving. I created this eight-meeting live online group for Black women to address the emotional, psychological, and everyday consequences of workplace mistreatment and the practical conditions that shape our choices.

We use storytelling, clear teaching, worked examples, and guided practice to consider what happened, what support could help, and what choices are realistic. The Participant Resource Guide is included. Personal sharing is optional, and meetings are not recorded.
