Virtual workshop · Session W01
A behavioral-health note can shape how the next professional understands a Black woman and what happens to her afterward. This case-based workshop follows an encounter from its first description to later decisions, asking what the record supports, what remains uncertain, and what additional context changes.
Participants work with a note-revision exercise and compare observation, reported information, and interpretation. The discussion includes both people who write records and people who use them, with attention to professional judgment, legitimate accountability, and information that still needs verification.
The 34th Annual Forensic Rights and Treatment Conference is hosted by Drexel University College of Medicine, Behavioral Healthcare Education. The main conference takes place December 9–10, 2026.
Registration, fees, continuing-education eligibility, and attendance policies are administered by the conference host.
